It's got a very active Dev team (3 people?) who answer all issues. The PvP is pretty competative and the PvE is still early days. I am looking forward to playing this game for a long time.. No.Why?The grind is like trying to build the pyramid with one slave and you are the slave.Is the game play any good?Yes, besides the grind.Is the PvP any good?Same as Rust but in 2D, sometimes you get lucky, most times you don't.Are there groups? Don't know of any other way someone could reach endgame, so yes.Will the game be fixed to make it more accommodating to solo and casual players.Yeah, slowly over time. You get all the collecting, farming, and charming art of Stardew Valley, with the base-building and murdering of Rust.The good:- No cheaters, as the system doesn't make it possible- Runs well, even on older machines- Crafting system is massive, logical, and mostly balanced (Although, it's still alpha, so it's tweaked for balance often)- Bases go up quickly, doors are automatic, and land claims have storage so even if you're raided, you can save a few high-value items- Community is worlds ahead of Rust and other multiplayer games. Community is self-policing, and developers care about making it a good community that people want to come back to- Modding is accessible and pretty involved for such an early game- Developers really care about this game, and they take feedback well- Noob protections so you can work the game out without getting killed all the time (the animals will still get you)- Few, if any bugs, and in-game systems to deal with issues- Regular releases- Non-PvP servers for people who just want to play and build without worrying about raidingThe bad:- Servers are not as populated as other games. More resources and space, but it allows for large, unopposed groups (the developers are working on a good solution- The crafting system can be a little too vast sometimes, and the many different items can be hard to tell apart in terms of usefulness- The LP system is great, but the requirements can be a little onerous, requiring lots of grinding. Love the concept. Fun to play and lets not forget about the mods :p.
